About the Challenge
Fairview's newest elementary school is being built in the quickly growing southeastern part of town and is scheduled to be open in two years. The City and School District will be looking for names that fit with the natural surrounding of the area or honor influential residents of Fairview. So we want to issue citizens this special Challenge: Submit the name you think will best fit the new school. We will begin taking submissions today and the three ideas with the most seconds from participants on EngageFairview.com over the next month will be presented for final judging at the end of the year by the naming committee; with a winner announced in May prior to school opening. The person who submits the winning name will receive a special invitation to sit along with city and school officials in the VIP area during the ribbon cutting ceremony; along with his or her name engraved on the school plaque, which will be placed near the cornerstone of the new school building.
